I finally saw Oppenheimer last night. Verdict? It cmopl * completely met and even slightly exceeded expectations, much like the Trinity test. While being somewhat familiar with the history as a person brought up through the good kind of public schools and whatever cable channel would have some WW2 thing on at my grandparents house, I came to this film as more a Nolan fan. Nolan is one of three or four directors that's allowed full control, or at least it seems that way. Anyways, the film. It is photographed beautifully, you could teach undergrad lighting from this movie alone. Murphy is fantastic as is almost the entire cast. I felt RDJ was a bit of a try hard, but who wouodn't be after spending ten years as Iron Man. All an * all in all a riveting piece, beatufully paced and editi edited, does not feel as long as the run tinme. It'll take best picture, and be deserving. Not a top ten film of all time, but itll

What would you call the emotion one experiences when they almost hit somebody with their car but not quite. Like a close call. What do you call the internal feeling. I guess it's a sense mixed with relief, err a mixture of relief and excitement. Excited because you can keep going about your day. Relieved becuz that poor individual didn't get injured. Realize how important and precious life is, man. Or think back on it and imagine the scene had it gone the other way. Scary stuff. I'm hangryyyyyy.

I've finally had time to review the Super Bowl ads. I'd been busy grieving the forty-niners loss. 1. Arnold S, State Farm ad. Arnold is and will be a crowd pleaser for another couple of decades, impregnated domestic employees be damned. A very relatable piece for anyone working across borders. We are all one humanity. 2. Ice Spice and Cartoons for Starry. Look, in these trying times I just want shiny objects on my screen. Also, this ad seemed to push the Starry narrative forward. Is it PSrite *Sprite's cousin? Did it get sent to boarding school? 3. RFK Jr. Ok I'm joking this is horrifying trash and countless minutes of peoples lives were collectively wasted here. Not cool. 4. Nothing else memorable. I was just accosted while taking my groceries down the ramp at costco. Accostco'd. A man pulls his cart up alongside me, filming me with some shitty Android device.
